Abstract submission

Abstracts must be submitted electronically, in PDF format, through EasyChair. Submissions must be in English, and must not exceed 3 pages, including all text, references, and figures. No particular formatting style for the submissions is stipulated.

The deadline for abstract submission is March 1, 2010.

Tool submission

Tools will be evaluated over remote demonstrations. We will host a conference bridge and a web-conferencing server. The tool author and the evaluation committee members will dial-in into the conference bridge, and connect to the web-conferencing server using a web browser. Depending on the browser, some plug-ins may need to be installed. After installation of these, the tool author will be able to share their desktop or the relevant application screen, and walk the evaluation committee through the tool.

Each demo session will not exceed 30 minutes, including all questions and interaction by the evaluators. Detailed information about the demo sessions will be made available at the web site after the abstract notification.

The tool authors should keep in mind that remote demos to a geographically distributed evaluation committee may sometimes lead to slow refreshing of screens across all participants on the web conference. We will keep aside 5 minutes to account for such problems. However, it is advised that the tool author create a crisp and short (no longer than 5 minutes) screen-cam demo of the tool, and submit that as well, which can be used in case of persistent network-latency problems.
