The International Symposium on Magnetic Materials, Processes and Devices is held as part of The Electrochemical Society meetings on a nominally biennial basis to provide a forum for the exchange of information among electrochemists, physicists, engineers, and device designers working in magnetic thin-film technology. Originally intended as a symposium for those working with magnetics for data storage, the scope of the meetings has expanded to include all aspects of magnetics relevant to data storage, nanostructures, MEMS and other magnetic devices. The Proceedings volumes, which are published by The Electrochemical Society in conjunction with each symposium, reflect the state of the art in the advanced application of magnetic materials. |

of the 210th Meeting of The Electrochemical Society in

Proceedings
of Past Symposia:
The Proceedings
volumes bring together advances by electrochemists,
materials scientists, physicists, engineers and device designers
working in the area of magnetic thin film technology. Also included are
reviews by leaders in the field summarizing the present and projected
state of the technology and suggesting new areas for research.
