PPoPP '08 Student Travel Grants
PPoPP will provide limited travel grants to full-time students. These
grants are intended to partially cover the expense to participate in
the conference (registration fee and some of the cost of travel). To
receive a grant, a student must register for the conference. Grant
amounts will be based on the available budget and details of
applications.
In no case will an individual award exceed the amount on submitted
receipts.
To apply for a grant, send an email to the Finance Chair, Kyung Ryu
(kryu at us.ibm.com), with the subject line "PPoPP-08 Student Travel
Grant".
The body of the message should include:
- Your name
- Your affiliation
- Whether you are a full-time student
- Your advisor's name
- Whether you are a co-author of one of the papers (please give the
number, title and author list of the paper as well) and whether you
will be presenting the paper
- Your estimated costs
Applications are due on Jan. 16, 2008. Applicants will be notified
of their award status on Jan. 22, 2008. (Early registration ends on
Jan. 25.) Priority will be given to presenters and paper co-authors.
