Social Event
The social event will take place at
the Top of Zurich
restaurant. It will consist of a little excursion and dinner. For
workshop participants, the price of tranportation and dinner is
covered by the registration costs. Should you need additional tickets
for the event, please contact the organizers.
The restaurant is located West of Zurich from where one has a nice
view of the city, the Northern part of the lake and the countryside
west of Zurich. The restaurant is not reachable by car. We will take a
special railway (takes about 20 minutes, circulating every 20 minutes,
in the evening every 30 minutes) and a short walk (approx. 10 minutes)
at the end. Please keep in mind that January is winter in Zurich, so
proper clothing and footware are required (warm, waterproof wind
jackets and shoes with non-slippery soles -- no sandals, please!).
