李育华（魏东）乔迁南加州，加入Valeant Pharmaceutical公司，领导生物统计，开发新药。
David (Yuhua) Li joined Valeant Pharmaceutical in Orange County, California to lead a statistical
team in developing new drugs for Parkinson disease and seizures. (2006.09.20)
康惠宁顺利通过博士论文答辩，即将上任新墨西哥大学助理教授,从事生物统计的教学和研究。
Huining Kang successfully
completed the PhD dissertation and became an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Internal Medicine, University of New Mexico. (2006.09.20)
张锡川与李大昕在西雅图统计会议上相逢。在西雅图美丽的自然环境中，二人就双方共同关心的问题交换了意见，并一起享受了西雅图有名的生猛海鲜。遗憾的是，李育华（魏东）也参加了这次会议，但没有联系，失去了一次聚会的机会。
Mark (Xichuan) Zhang and
Ta-Hsin Li met at the Joint Statistical Meetings
(JSM) in Seattle, Washington. This was their first
meeting in more than twenty years. David (Yuhua) Li
was also at the JSM, but missed the opportunity to meet with the others.
